I was amazed that Richard Matheson was able to make a script that entertained and kept you on the edge of your seat the whole time. I was skeptical at first, you know... How far can they take a story about a truck wanting to murder a guy in a car. I was also amazed after watching the special features on how hard it was to make this and how demanding ABC was when they asked Spielberg to do the movie (They wanted him to complete it in 10 days; He did it in 12). The things this film called for were very hard to do and most of all dangerous, yet they completed this film and now it is one of the best films of all time. I am very glad I bought this DVD, usually Spielberg isn't open for doing documentaries, interviews, etc. For this film he actually did. I was so happy to see that he took the time out to do this. Throughtout the movie I kept thinking it was a Hitchcock film ( I knew it was Spielberg though.) But the style is just so close to hitchcocks that it made me think "Al" was behind the camera. This brilliant film deserves to be put on the shelf reserved for the best movies. In my opinion every collection should have the chance to be graced with this DVD,
