One Sunday Afternoon

Synopsis: Dentist Biff Grimes meets an old acquaintance, Hugo Barnstead, and recalls bitterly that, years ago, Hugo eloped with Virginia, the woman Biff loved. Although Biff subsequently married sweet Amy, he has secretly dreamed of Virginia and overlooked Amy's steadfast devotion. Since his fractious relationship with Hugo resulted in his imprisonment for two years, Biff considers revenge, but is surprised when thoughts of Amy intrude.
