Synopsis: Arthur and Janet are two teenagers in love. But their careless romance is thrown into jeopardy when Janet gets pregnant. They try to broach the matter with their emotionally remote parents, but are unable to make any headway. Arthur and Janet even try to get married -- but are turned away for being too young. As their window of opportunity narrows, Arthur begins the search for someone who can perform an illegal abortion.
