Synopsis: Two alleged movie producers arrive in Sage City and claim that a film will be shot there. Promising to double investments, they collect $35,000 from the townspeople, then flee. Gene Autry and his friend Frog track the crooks to Mexico, where they learn a similar scam is targeting wealthy Don Carlos Alvarado and his daughter, Maria. Rushing to warn the Alvarados, the men meet the producers -- who are not the same men from Sage City.
