Under Fiesta Stars Synopsis: Gene inherits half the rights to a mine when his foster father dies, with the other half going to the dead man's East Coast niece, Barbara. She comes to town hoping to sell the mine, but Gene is unwilling to part with it, as it employs many disadvantaged people. Barbara hires two attorneys to forge ahead, not realizing that they want the mine for themselves. While an unexpected romance blossoms between the mine owners, the scheming lawyers plot to kill Gene.
